Little MISS Chevious

While my attention was elsewhere, I noticed that Gracie was being way too quiet. This is the scene that I came upon:

She took the kitchen sink out of her play kitchen, got my opened can of Diet Coke out of the fridge, and poured it into her sink. However, when I found her she was laying on our coffee table in the living room trying to lap up her refreshing drink. (Just like her dog.) It was a mess, but hilarious. I Love her and I love being her mom! Even as she is trying to type right now on my lap...

"An Attitude of Gratitude"

Yes, this is my only picture that I took of Thanksgiving. haha. However, I loved spending time with my family. We spent this Thanksgiving with the Moody side and we even got to have a mini Christmas. The temple
The scriptures
The prophet and apostles
Love
A warm home
All my great sister-friends
Transportation
Good food- yumm!

Football- only because it makes Mr. Bleazard so happy
Uplifting music
Being an Auntie
Missionary work
Animals, my Ginger puppy

Butter Knife...

Another funny story from the little lady...

Lady: I need a knife mom, I gotta cut this open.

Mom: Knives aren't for little ladies, only for moms and dads.

Lady: Just a butter knife mom...

I thought this was funny because I didn't even know she could differentiate between the two? This girl is always surprising me...haha. PS. Lady is officially potty-trained! YEAH!

Family Pictures!

Ashlee took these family pictures for us and despite Gracie's almost obsolete cooperation, she did an amazing job! Thanks so much Ashlee, I am so grateful to be your friend!
PS. Meg this is for you!

"Football"

Diaologue :

(Mom is getting Gracie ready for bed.)

Mom: Hey Gracie, why don't you go lay down on the bed with Dad?

(Gracie walks in Dad's room and walks back out.)

Mom: Gracie, don't you want to go lay down with Dad?

Gracie: I don't wanna watch football....I don't like football..

_____________________________________________________________________

I thought that this was so funny! We have a long couple years ahead of us with this girl, and football. haha...

Tears:Costumes::Smiles:Candy

Our Beautiful Little Lady! Thanks Grama Joyce for the new hat!

We had such a fun weekend with the Bleazards in St. George! Grandma's are the best aren't they? And when we go to St. George we get to see two! (Grama Whitney and Joyce) Thanks for the fun weekend! We can't wait to see you guys again!

Gracie and her Daddy in the parking lot of the trunk-or-treat in St. George. The girl was exhausted.

Family Pic! Ginger had a costume on too, she was a cupcake, but Dallyn was pretty adamant about not getting her in the photo. HAha!

Gracie in the parking lot of the trunk or treat. She did NOT want to put her costume on! We finally talked her into at least wearing the skirt. There was a top too...and a crown...and shoes...and a wand. But I was just glad we got the wings and the tutu on her. It was so funny because when we were trying to talk her into wearing her costume she would say, "Please! I don't feel good!" It was hilarious, the girl is two and already she is faking sick!
Then, once the drama subsided and she realized she was getting candy from people for being in her costume, it was all smiles! In the end she fell asleep in her Daddy's arms in the parking lot.

Question: Are all girls this dramatic or is it all two year olds? Haha

Either way, I love her they way she is.

FALL FESTIVITIES

I really love when the weather turns to a crisp autumn and the leaves start to show their fall colors. This is my favorite time of year!! Therefore we have been spending a lot of time outside. We went to the pumpkin orchard to pick our own pumpkins, to the pumpkin patch (but we just rode on the slide there and went into the petting zoo, the pumkins are way too expensive). Dallyn took us "camping" up in Pine Valley, but we ended up staying in a cabin instead of roughing it in a tent with Gracie, a decision I am grateful for! We went to a farm here in Vegas where you can buy pumpkins and ride on ponies, they even had a turkey there that was cool to see. Our new family tradition is to pick pine nuts up at Mt. Charleston every fall, so we went up there and we are probably going again because we have eaten all of them already! I also talked Dallyn into taking us to the Bellagio to see the garden and they had pumpkins there that were close to 1,000 lbs! That place always amazes me! We also took Gracie to see the water show outside, but she was scared because she thought she was going to get splashed! It is a fear she has since we took her to Sea World and she got soaked. It's pretty funny!

EYE-OWE-A

Such good brothers...

My sweet sister friend...
Krew and Gracie rode on this old carousel. It was really cool!

Dallyn and Gracie on the most dangerous slide ever! It looks way more dangerous in person...haha.

Family pic. Isn't the waterfall cool behind us? This part of the zoo was all indoor and there were monkeys that could just wander around.

Feeding the peakcocks popcorn.

Gracie and Krew all geared up for the zoo.

A couple weekends ago we went to visit Dallyn's brother, Brock, who is currently attending medical school in good ol' Des Moines, Iowa. Luckily for me he married one of my best friends ever, so it made the trip super fun! Iowa is such a beautiful place, I never thought that I would take my family to vacation there, but we did and we loved it! We went to this AWESOME zoo in Omaha, and to the farmer's market, rode on the most dangerous park slide in the nation (not really, but it was pretty funny to see Dallyn's face when he went down it!) We ate so much good food and had so much fun! Thanks Bleazards! We love you! I hope we can come again soon!
(Maddy we love love love you too, but I didn't have a picture of you! Next time I come, I will only take pictures of you!)

WATCH OUT 2010!

So Dallyn was invited to be a part of the UNLV Rebel Football team for the 2010 season! He starts Spring ball in January. This year he is grey shirting and saving a year of eligibility. He has been working so hard and I am so proud of him! The coach is really excited for him to be on the team too! I am such a lucky girl to have such a stud for a husband! Way to go Babe!
(I made him pose with his football. Isn't it so cute?)

Day at the Lake

Gracie exhausted after paddling so hard.
My Stud Husband!

Brooke, Dallyn Steven and Spencer in front of the boat.
(Yes, our little 4Runner pulls it like a champ!)

We finally were able to go out to the lake once Dallyn's schedule subsided. This past weekend we went out with Dallyn's brothers, mom, and my new sweet sister-in-law. We had so much fun! (Except the entire time Gracie just wants to swim and the minute we put her in the water she turns away from the boat and paddles away as fast as she can. The girl thinks that she is a mermaid! It's hilarious. Then when someone hoists her back into the boat she kicks and screams like it is the worst thing anyone could ever do to her.)

Everyone there was a pro wake boarder, besides me. I do much better just sitting on the boat. Even Grama Whitney got up on the wakeboard and jumped the wake. Dallyn is getting really good too. (He would be embarassed if he knew I was writing this though.) He even landed a 360! It was CRAZY!

Summer Synopsis

We stopped to see the San Diego temple last weekend. Isn't it beautiful?
Dallyn put a tower on the boat for the summer, although he has been so busy we have only been out once. I would not recommend putting a tower on yourself, it was not a fun experience! But Dallyn did a great job, hopefully we will have the chance to enjoy it soon.

Petting the baby pigs at the Clark County Fair. We love that place, and the food is awesome!

Eating at our favorite place in Maui. How could you ever beat that view? I would live there a couple months a year if I could.

Happy Birthday Gracie!

Sea World last weekend. Gracie tried Dip'n'Dots for the first time and loved them! She really loved the whales and the dolphins too, but not the part when she got splased.

We had a big dinner with the Bleazard family for Gracie's birthday. It was so fun and she even got a princess ice cream cake.
Gracie and Chloe posing with Gracie's new cabbage patch baby in our homemade sling.

Celebrating Gracie's Birthday with the Moody family at TPC.

Ohh..Where to Begin...??

I know, I am not so great at blogging...but trying is better than nothing..right??

So Gracie is now 2 years old!!?? CRAZY! She is growing up so fast. She loves to dance and even more she loves to sing. She just sings all day long...I don't know where she learned that. haha. Funny story...the other day I took her to the grocery store and while I was pushing her along in the cart, trying to decide which loaf of bread to buy this guys stopped me and said, " I sing that same song to my kid too!" I didn't even know what to say? I didn't even realize I was singing in the grocery store...it makes me wonder what else I do subconciously. Hanging out with a two year old all day sure does change you.
She is talking so good too, but some words she made up herself and I think they are so cute. Dallyn and I repeat them to her so she thinks that they are the correct words to use. It's hilarious!
For example:
grape = dwapo
blanket= winkum
binki = bubba (I know she is way too old, but they are way too easy....what is a mother to do?)
Juice = jew
Movie = moomoo

We took her to Sea World this past weekend for her birthday. She thought the whales and dolphins were amazing, until she got splashed...then she was pretty mad, but it was fun nonetheless.

Dallyn has been crazy busy this summer. I don't know how he accomplishes so much? He took 15 credits over the summer semester, did an internship at a bank, and still worked valet, while selling cars on the side! The man is seriously amazing! I admire his drive and motivation. He takes such good care of our family! He is also getting ready for his last round of football try outs so he can play this fall! I hope everyone is planning on coming out to the games if everything works out the way we hope!

As for me, I have been able to play mom and wife. I closed on a couple houses this summer and I am looking forward to going back to school in the fall. Oh yeah, Dallyn surprised me with a trip to Maui back in June. It was just me and him, we left Gracie with the grandparents. It was soo FUN! It was our third anniversary in March, and I can honestly say it has been the best three years of my life. I feel so blessed to have all that I do.

This is why I AM the MOM

Who could ever get mad at that sweet smile?

Kitchen Floor Art

A couple Sundays ago I was rushing trying to finish some last minute homework before we went to church. I shut the door to my room and told Dallyn that he was in charge. Twenty minutes of silence later I hear Dallyn say, "OH NO! You better go and show Mama what you have done." Please see the pictures above as evidence of why I am the Mom and he is the Dad. (FYI it is permanent sharpie and its not just in one spot, it is ALL OVER my kitchen floor.) Life is always full of little surprises like this, but honestly when I think about it, I would not want it any other way.

Congrats Homeowners!

Recently I have been working with Chris and Melissa Wood to help them purchase their first home. They are moving to Las Vegas in April so they got their perfect home just in time. (However we did have to put offers on a handful of others before we got this one.) We just closed this past Monday and they got a super great house! Congrats Homeowners! I am so excited for you!

So Long Uncle Travi

Dallyn's little brother Travis recently left on his mission to Tampico, Mexico. Before he left the whole Bleazard family went to Disneyland together. It was so fun and Gracie really loved Disneyland this time, mainly because all of her uncles were there and her new, future Aunt Dani.

Whenever we ask Gracie where anyone in our family is she clearly says, "At home," but when we ask her where Uncle Travi is she says, "On a mission." It's so crazy how fast she learns. On that same note, she even started potty training last week! I know it is so CRAZY!

Family Pictures

Here are some family pictures that we took last December. These just go to show how sassy Gracie is. She is getting so big! Everytime we ask her how old she is she holds up her pointer finger and says. "TWO", it is hilarious. We try to get her to say "one", but she refuses.

Here is a current list of some of her favorite things:

1. Finding Nemo

2. "Tweats" of any kind, especially mints

3. Bubba (her binki)

4. Playing outside

5. Dancing/Singing

6. All of her grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles who give her anything she wants!

DISNEYLAND

Gracie with Minnie!

Here is gracie enjoying her churro and wearing her over-priced Minnie Mouse Ears. (Dallyn was mad that I bought them, but I had to because we were in Disneyland!)

Gracie asleep after her second ride.

Here is Gracie eating her HUGE sucker that she loved. (Thanks to Dad!)
