I just want to wish Brooke a happy mothers day and tell her how much I love her and appreciate all that she does for Gracie and. She is such a wonderful example and tries in everyway to live like Christ.

Also, thank you for making life so enjoyable and always lookin so dam (yes the misspelling was on purpose) HOT.

F-A-I-R

When Gracie says "Cheese" she gets that real concerned look on her face. So unless I capture the moment with her natural smile, this is what I get. I love ya Lady!
Ashlee, Michelle, and Markie. (If you look closely you will see the spattered powdered sugar all over from their funnel cake. haha) See, they like the food too!

The definite highlight! Gracie is still talking about this pony...

Her pretty butterfly face. She picked out the purple butterfly.

Eating the best thai chicken ever! I would drive to the fair just for this!

Yes, I have had this event on my calendar for over a year. The Clark County fair just gives me that small, hometown feeling that I love. I probably talk about it everyday for the entire month leading up to it. (Thanks Dal for putting up with me.)This year we went twice, and once to the rodeo. During the rodeo Gracie kept telling me she had a secret, she would get as close as she could to me ear and then spit-whisper, "Is it over yet?", it was hilarious. Needless to say that was not her favorite part.

All-in-all I probably am exaggerating, and it's not as spectacular as I make it in my own mind. It's just a small, po-dunk(sp?), fair, but I love going to it, especially for all the yummy food!

I encourage you all to go next year! If you need the dates, just contact me, I'll give you all the LD.

Some say it doesn't get better than this...

But I think it does...

4 Year Bliss!

Waiting to eat her crab!

Wow, we've been married four years! It's so cliche, but true when they say time flies when you are having fun! I love you Dallyn, and I am so excited to spend eternity with you.
We celebrated by going on our traditional Flemmings date and to the movies. (Unfortunately forgot the camera. Thanks for babysitting Ashlee!)
We celebrated at home too and made some king crab legs and shrimp. The Lady loves king crab and begs for it everytime we pass it in the grocery store. So I thought I would splurge and get it this time. (Beware boys, she really loves king crab and really good steaks!)

? Question ?

Sometimes Lady asks crazy silly things that we don't know how to answer. The other night we were driving home from cleaning and she asked her dad:

G: Where is the sun?

Dad: It's sleeping.

G: Where is the sun's bed?

Anyone have an answer to this conundrum? Haha.

He's Here...and already a month old!

I just gotta give a shout out to my sweet new nephew Brody! We love you and talk about you everyday!

Hoppy Easter!

Dallyn and Steven made us a delicious breakfast Easter morning while one-legged Spence and Gracie and I sat and ate our candy.
Moki puppy, which was Steven's birthday present, was the highlight of Gracie's weekend. (Neither of them would hold still long enough for me to get a good picture.)

Gracie's Easter egg hunt!

Grama Whitney made eggs for us to dye. It was a fun mess for everyone!

Easter morning!
When Gracie woke up she was a bit confused:
Mom: Gracie, the Easter Bunny came last night, come see what he brought you!
Gracie: He left, or can I still pet him?
This Lady says the funniest things somtimes!

Recent Happenings

All the "Moody Girls" at Shanna's baby shower last week. I can't wait for my new nephew!

Dallyn turned 25 (in November). Crazy!
Grama Whitney made a half the cake for Dallyn and half for Logan since their birthdays are only a day apart.

Our annual Homage to SLC.
This is in the Joseph Smith building where you get to go watch the movie. I love that movie. I encourage everyone to see it who hasn't. Thanks Grama Whitney for keeping Gracie and making "plans" with her!

Me and the lil' Lady on the carousel at the District.
It was freezing outside, but she was determined to ride it. Thanks Dani for all the pics!

Family Ice Skating.
Gracie did not take to it well, but her little ice skates were so cute I couldn't resist getting them on her.

Christmas 2009..(Yeah I know)

Krew, Dallyn, Gracie

Christmas Morning

Check out Dallyn's big guns! haha

Let's begin with Christmas...

This year we spent it with the Bleazards in St. George. Gracie's cousins were there too so it made it extra special. I love St George, everytime I go visit I get more familiar with the idea of moving there someday. For now though, we have football, school, and our small business that keeps us forever busy. While we were there for Christmas though they had a Rhino that I got to drive, only a couple times because everyone thought I was too crazy on it. (Isn't that the point of those terrain machines?) Gracie got way too much stuff from everybody, the problem was taking it home and trying to find a place for it all in our house. This problem still stands today, almost two months later. I think that she is beginnning to understand the concept of Santa Clause, even though we saw him several times and everytime she refused to sit on his lap. The holidays are such a special time of year for me. Even today I am excited about out 2010 holiday season.

Little MISS Chevious

While my attention was elsewhere, I noticed that Gracie was being way too quiet. This is the scene that I came upon:

She took the kitchen sink out of her play kitchen, got my opened can of Diet Coke out of the fridge, and poured it into her sink. However, when I found her she was laying on our coffee table in the living room trying to lap up her refreshing drink. (Just like her dog.) It was a mess, but hilarious. I Love her and I love being her mom! Even as she is trying to type right now on my lap...

"An Attitude of Gratitude"

Yes, this is my only picture that I took of Thanksgiving. haha. However, I loved spending time with my family. We spent this Thanksgiving with the Moody side and we even got to have a mini Christmas. Butter Knife...

Another funny story from the little lady...

Lady: I need a knife mom, I gotta cut this open.

Mom: Knives aren't for little ladies, only for moms and dads.

Lady: Just a butter knife mom...

I thought this was funny because I didn't even know she could differentiate between the two? This girl is always surprising me...haha. PS. Lady is officially potty-trained! YEAH!

Family Pictures!

Ashlee took these family pictures for us and despite Gracie's almost obsolete cooperation, she did an amazing job! Thanks so much Ashlee, I am so grateful to be your friend!

"Football"

Diaologue :

(Mom is getting Gracie ready for bed.)

Mom: Hey Gracie, why don't you go lay down on the bed with Dad?

(Gracie walks in Dad's room and walks back out.)

Mom: Gracie, don't you want to go lay down with Dad?

Gracie: I don't wanna watch football....I don't like football..

_____________________________________________________________________

I thought that this was so funny! We have a long couple years ahead of us with this girl, and football. haha...

Tears:Costumes::Smiles:Candy

Our Beautiful Little Lady! Thanks Grama Joyce for the new hat!

We had such a fun weekend with the Bleazards in St. George! Grandma's are the best aren't they? And when we go to St. George we get to see two! (Grama Whitney and Joyce) Thanks for the fun weekend! We can't wait to see you guys again!

Gracie and her Daddy in the parking lot of the trunk-or-treat in St. George. The girl was exhausted.

Family Pic! Ginger had a costume on too, she was a cupcake, but Dallyn was pretty adamant about not getting her in the photo. HAha!

Gracie in the parking lot of the trunk or treat. She did NOT want to put her costume on! We finally talked her into at least wearing the skirt. There was a top too...and a crown...and shoes...and a wand. But I was just glad we got the wings and the tutu on her. It was so funny because when we were trying to talk her into wearing her costume she would say, "Please! I don't feel good!" It was hilarious, the girl is two and already she is faking sick!
Then, once the drama subsided and she realized she was getting candy from people for being in her costume, it was all smiles! In the end she fell asleep in her Daddy's arms in the parking lot.

Question: Are all girls this dramatic or is it all two year olds? Haha

Either way, I love her they way she is.
